Hi,

I am new to selenium and need help. Currently i have started working with selenium IDE and recording and playback scripts. During my test case, i get an error which is expected as the data entered is not valid. Buy my test run stops as soon as that step fails. I want to continue my test run without getting it stopped. Is is possible to do it using selenium ide only? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

This post might be helpful: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18349435/selenium-ide-how-to-continue-script-on-element-not-found-or-on-error. The verify approach might help but if you're new to Selenium I'd recommend exporting your test from the IDE and playing with the code. There's tons of documentation online for the various languages. Here's a simple walk-though to get you started with Python: http://docs.seleniumhq.org/docs/03_webdriver.jsp#introducing-the-selenium-webdriver-api-by-example - click on the Python option to see the code. Hope this helps.
