Selenium IDE for internet explorer

how can i run the  Selenium IDE on internet explorer...?

No, you can not.. it is a firefox plug-in.

It is not possible to run Selenium IDE on IE. U can run Selenium RC instead. Only FF supports Selenium IDE.

You can record script only on Firefox but can run recorded script on browsers like chrome, IE, Opera etc. Refer blog to get steps of the same -

If your asking can you automate IE then open the IDE in the options tab choose web driver by checking the check box. choose your browser of choice, in this case internet explorer. Close and re open the IDE. Start your Selenium server including the explorer driver. Run your test
