Hi,

We are planning for cross browser testing.

Initially tested the application on Firefox browser, & Objects were identified using their respectrive XPATHS.
The same tests needs to be run on IE browser. Is there any utility to convert XPATH to CSS?

While I prefer using CSS selectors, XPath works on IE and I believe the performance issues are no longer a major concern.

BTW - I'm sure I read some recent performance stats on line but can't find the page

Note that some sites will convert an XPath that uses a text-based approach into a text-based CSS selector, that is to say it will convert: //a[text()='Test'] into a:contains(Test)

There is no CSS contains selector.
