My talented listmates,

I wanted to print a 3D Clownfish (for people to learn re: coral reefs,
not for sale).

I found an .stl of a Clownfish but when I situated it veticall to use
the Prusa Slicer Color Change.

NO matter how clean the bed is it starts to encounter the toolhead
dragging the print around the bed at 15% of the print.

I've even raised the bed temp to 80 degrees and slowed it to 15mm speed.

How complicated owu this be to learn how to create changing colors in
OnShape, Autodesk (Fusion 360), other app?

Thank you.

Charles.

Can you share a picture of what this looks like oriented on your slicer?  I'm assuming you just need more support, maybe add a brim to the part/etc.  Have you let the slicer auto orient the part and successfully printed *without* color changing?

If you attach/share a link to the STL file that might give some insights.  You should also consider uploading STL's made by AI (that you're looking for) to a STL sharing website so you save other people from the same work you're going to to create them [eg. leave the world a little better than you found it ;-) ]
