Hi Sean and brlcad developers,

Currently I am working on how to visualize the ONBrep structure in OpenGL view. The current implementation just iterate for the edges in the shape and visualize those edges in the OpenGL view. I believe that we can construct the solid using the basic brep primitives but Charlie mentioned that it would be out of the project scope. 

So my question is How do I visualize the ONBrep structure shape as a solid in OpenGL view ? Any ideas or suggestions regarding this matter is highly appreciated.

Hi Milinda.

IMHO To visualize  step geometry you need to get face triangles. So you need to find out how BRL CAD makes face triangulation and where it store triangles =)

Thank you very much for your reply. I've been stuck at this point for weeks now. I will ask from the brlcad developers how to get face triangles from the ONBrep structure.

Take a look at rt_brep_polt_poly and poly2tri_CDT in
src/librt/primitives/brep/brep.cpp
