As always, you can get the latest beta version from the "develop" git branch. Alternatively, the self-contained source tarball is at http://www.sagemath.org/download-latest.html

We should have a release soon ;-)

On Debian testing, uptodate, with ./configure --without-system-singular,
migration frm beta8 to beta9:

- compilation ok.
- ptestlong:
only one test failed, not important:

File "src/sage/tests/cmdline.py", line 216, in
sage.tests.cmdline.test_executable
Failed example:
print(out) # optional - sage_spkg
Expected:
sqlite...
SQLite is a software library that implements a self-contained,
serverless, zero-configuration, transactional SQL database engine.
...
Got:
Cleaning up PYTHONPATH:
Old: "/home/moi/.local/bin:"
New: "/home/moi/.local/bin"
sqlite: An SQL database engine

On Mac OS 13.3 with Intel Core i5, homebrew updated, the first built passed but for make ptestlong,
It gives:

sage -t --long --warn-long 265.9 --random-seed=290329916871715862331844336527289916896 src/sage/rings/polynomial/multi_polynomial_ideal.py  # Killed due to segmentation fault

On Debian testing running on core i7 + 16 GB RAM, uĝrading 10.0.beta9 to 10.0.beta9 and running ptestlong gives the same permanent failues as o the last couple of betas.
