Pillow 11 might fail to build, if your trove-classifiers package is
too old, with Python 3.13.
Thus please review https://github.com/sagemath/sage/pull/39675
which fixes this (it should be a blocker).

On Debian testing running on Ryzen 9 + 64 GB RAM, upgrading 10.6.beta8+#39571+#39602 to 10.6.beta9 (develop) and running ptestlong gives five  permanent failures :

Dear all,

I'm experiencing a new issue after a system update (now macOS 15.3.2), brew upgrade and make distclean in a fresh shell: command ./bootstrap fails

It requires perl5.30

My default perl is version v5.40.1

and perl<TAB> shows: perl            perl5.34        perl5.40.1

I don't know what to do now.

That's either a Homebrew bug, or you haven't upgraded Homebrew properly.
Most probably the latter: on a freshly upgraded macOS+Homebrew,
I get
% grep perl /opt/homebrew/bin/autom4te
#!/usr/bin/perl5.34
[...]

and ./bootstrap works.

This is due to homebrew. 

/opt/homebrew/bin/autom4te is a link to ../Cellar/autoconf/2.72/bin/autom4te, and autoconf was already with the good version.

After brew upgrade, I get

#!/usr/bin/perl5.30

After brew reinstall autoconf, I get

Now ./bootstrap is working.
