Hello,

No surprises - many of these interacts need some care to start working without displaying warnings under Python 3. If anyone cares about it - please do fix them!

Thank you,
Andrey

Thanks! It is not just warnings but errors. I was doing a video chat demo for a department yesterday and the first interact I tried was broken because of python3 vs python2. For me it only took a few seconds to fix though...

Unfortunately there also seem to be some fair number that are broken because of needing some optional package installed.  At least two on https://wiki.sagemath.org/interact/algebra seem to fall in this category and I think others do as well - Marshall liked optional packages :-)  Is there a way to "require" the optional package, or are these maybe packages that the cell server could install regularly?  (I would try to reply to that list as well but there isn't a way to do it in the web interface, my apologies.)

To make optional or pip or else packages available on SageMathCell public servers one has to let me know what should be installed - assuming that it is indeed possible to install these things they will become available ;-)

an optional package not working is a reportable bug.
less sure about pip ones.
