getting issues in sagemath website

Hi everyone,

My name is Subham Mondal. I am a 2nd year UG student. I want to contribute to sage math. I want to fix some of the issues in the sagemath website but I can not set up the environment. I am using Ubuntu 20.04 in virtual box. I am having serious issue in rendering the website locally. Someone please help.

changes to the website are done via GitHub PRs, at
https://github.com/sagemath/website

all you need for this is a GitHub account and a browser.

Dear sir,

I have clone the repository from github itself via git clone command. I installed the required packages mentioned in the website Readme file.

I installed 

sudo apt-get install -y pybtex python-jinja2 python-markdown python-yaml

pip install --user pyinotif

 

apt-get install xdotool

pep8

Autopep8

Should I also have to install pnq8 images also?

What else I have to install?

I don't know, I guess you could try running it locally, as explained in

https://github.com/sagemath/website#development

and see if you get any errors.

I am facing problem in setting up the site locally on my desktop. After setting up the site locally I can proceed with development.
