for which a patch exists.

does Homebrew's gfortran work for you?

According to https://formulae.brew.sh/formula/gcc, the homebrew gcc supports Sequoia on Arm but not on Intel yet.  The patch referenced in the ticket appears to work.  It is not entirely trivial to apply that patch, however, because it changes some of the same files as the existing patches.

Oh, OK, it was not clear to me that you are on x86_64, not arm64. (We
know that it's possible to build Sage on arm64 running macOS 15.0).
