SGE roll ready for testing

Folks,
the SGE roll is ready for testing. The code base is Son-Of-Grid-Engine release
8.1.9 (latest available as far as I can tell).
My most basic testing seems show functionality.
[phil@castiel ~]$ qlogin

You should be using beta7.rocksclusters.org for install tests.
Inching closer towards release -- still need a way to handle restore rolls and
updated documentation. Very likely to release without updated documentation, since that will take quite a while to rectify.

Hi,
great!!
I tested the SGE roll, however I get an error during installation of the frontend see the attached screenshot.
(I can't remember from my last rocks 6 installation: do I have to add the queues manually, or is it done automatically)

This is what I did :-)
Do I have to add the compute nodes manually to the SGE queue, or should this be done by the installer? I can't remember this from my last fresh rocks 6 installation (to many years ago)

They will be added on discovery (insert-ethers plugin). I'd have to look at the code to see if existing compute nodes would be added
simply via reinstall and a "rocks sync config"

... yep it worked with insert-ethers. I also did a "rocks sync config", before just to be sure :-)

sounds good :-)
In my case the SGE daemons do not get started automatically. Did you also have to do
on the frontend
/etc/init.d/sgemaster.xxx start
and on the compute node
/etc/init.d/sgeexecd.xxx start
After manually starting the services, however I could also sucessfully submit and execute a
/etc/init.d/sgeexecd.xxx start

Yes, I noticed that behavior too. The daemons do start automatically
following a reboot, however.
