Well it it has been a rough road for the past few weeks.

As the times go by the doctors now tell us that my cancer is aggressive and quickly spreading.

So now they say prepare for the end, maybe too weeks or less.

My Family have been wonderful and my many friends have been amazing too so thank You all for all the have been amazing with all their well

Skydog, you are my friend, you will always be my friend. I am very
saddened by this news and all I can hope is that your remaining time
is pain free and you go in peace. You will be remembered for your
instant smile, great demeanor and a lifetime of both flying,
encouraging other pilots and of course your photo history of our
sport. I will definitely see you again, in the sky and in the clouds
where your spirit will watch over us from above, your usual position
on top of the stack.

This news is very tough to hear, Skydog. Thinking of all the wonderful times we had in the Fingerlakes high sites and in Florida at Wallaby. Too many times I was on the ground looking up seeing you still circling, thinking: how does he do that? 

I will continue to cherish our friendship and I’m thankful for the time we have been able to spend together.

Skydog - You prob wouldn't remember me we spoke at Padgham a few times but I couldn't get my lead ass to a high site and eventually left the pursuit.  You were - and are - a great guy, abundant in joy and kindness in equal measure. 

I stayed in the Google group to follow the RAF  flight  chatter and your posts were among my favorites.   Thank you for the smiles you didn't know you were giving me with them.

You are in my prayers and will be for quite a while going forward.
