RomWBW Release v3.6

I am pleased to announce the latest stable version of RomWBW.  The RomWBW GitHub repository is found at https://github.com/wwarthen/RomWBW.  The downloadable releases are found on the Releases page at https://github.com/wwarthen/RomWBW/releases.

Note that there is now a specific platform for the official RC2014 hardware.  The "RC2014" platform is optimized for the hardware distributed at Z80Kits.  The original platform "RCZ80" will continue to be available for systems and hardware compatible with RCBus.

That's excellent news. Thanks Wayne for everything you've done here.

This new v3.6.0 ROM will be shipped by default with the RC2014 Zed II and RC2014 Zed Pro II - Although it will take me a couple of days to get everything set up and ready to go.

Since the RC2014 target now builds RC2014_std.rom this will need to be renamed to RCZ80_std.com if you are going to use it with Spencer's 39SF040 programmer as  that only accepts RCZ80_std.com as the source file on the sdcard.

You're right that if you have an original programmer with v1.3 firmware it is only looking for RCZ80_std.rom.

There is new v1.4 firmware which I have been shipping out since the end of February.  This will look for RC2014_std.rom first, and if that is not on the SD card it will fall back to RCZ80_std.rom

To check what firmware is on your RomWriter, hold down the A button when you apply power and it will show you on the OLED display and also send it over the serial port.
