I am wondering if one of the Sackville BaggaBond or HappiSacks would work on my Appaloosa as a handlebar bag. Been using the mini up front and would like a little more capacity.Okay, so I might get A LOT more capacity, but that might allow me to avoid having to load up the panniers.  I have about 10 inches vertical between bar and platform of the rack. I've compared measurements and think it would fit nicely hanging from the Bosco bar, resting on the Nitto rack up front. Cannot quite tell if the loops for the saddle would be too centered and the bag might hang at a weird angle up front.

Has anyone else tried?

I've done it with Carradice bags which have that "flopped down" look on the back..this translates well to the bar position. Sackvilles are designed to sit flat under the saddle, I think the position (I haven't tried it) would be awkward up front.

I use a bagboy as a front bag and think it's perfectly suited, I added a larger coroplast stiffener to stop sway. I've also used a medium up front but it encouraged overloading.

I like my banana bag hanging on the handlebars.

I haven’t thought of that configuration yet. But sure. Why not? I’ll give it a shot.
Thanks!
