What Fenders Are These?

Hello Friends, 

Can anyone identify what fenders are in this photo from rivendell's blug?

I messaged them to ask if they knew what size tires and model of fender and the answer was the tires were 2.25" Thunder Burt's and a Hanjo fender. I can see that the tires are Rocket Ron's and I can't find a hanjo fender that wide that was available around the time of this photo.

The goal for my new appaloosa is to do a 2.1" tire with fenders which from this photo looks possible if I can find the right fender.

Is is possible it could be these 63mm VO fenders?

Looks like it , including the kick-in bend for the rear to make room for the chainrings

Also , I'm using Giles Berthoud stainless fenders in 700x60mm on my 55cm silver Appaloosa.

Similarly running Schwalbe 29x2.1 Thunderburts

They've been powder coated black

Yeah they look a lot like the 63mm VO fenders linked above. I have them in black on my Appaloosa covering 700c x 55mm tires.

Thanks everyone. Those were the two fenders I had narrowed it down to. The Simworks internal measurement seems to small and further inspection of the photo on the Blug and your butternut Aapploosa here I think they most likely are the VO fenders. 

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your Appaloosas. Those are both great builds.
