Hey all, thx for reading. My first born has out grown the Yepp Mini seat I have mounted to my stem, and it's time for us to get a rear mounted seat. She weighs 30lbs and is a growing. Ive noticed my 2015 Sam has quite a few extra eyelets for racks etc. Id prefer something silver in color for the rack part, but am fairly open to the seat itself.

Thx again and Im looking forward to what you guys have to say!

For what it's worth, I used the Bobike Classic Junior for many years for my son. I did not use the large plastic spoke guards and my son's feet never got tangled in the rear spokes.
I liked it because it had plenty of affordance for hanging bags and it folded flat so I could carry stuff on it when my son wasn't on it.
It also had a waist strap which I cut off when he got older because I didn't want him being tied to the bike if we were in an accident.

They do not match the silver look that you are going for, but I have had good luck with the Yepp Maxi (two on a Big Dummy).

I'll second the rack-mounted Thule Yepp Maxi. (don't get the seat tube-mounted version) Get a Nitto Big Rear Rack to put it on and you're good to go.

I'll add on about the Yepp Maxi, however with the caveat to get a rack that fits the Easyfit window so no need for parts clamping to a different rack. Here's my setup on a Clem - we have two of these setups - I'll likely be looking to sell a rack/seat combo sometime soon if anyone's interested - older child is ready to transition to something else.

I’m curious if it’s difficult to get the Yepp Maxi mounted on a Nitto big rear rack. Do you need a special piece and does it fit on this rack? Thanks!

You'd need a special piece, which also raises the rack height about 2", making your load/kiddo sit higher= more leverage/trouble. Best to get a dedicated rack with the appropriate window. Sounds like a pain, but the Yepp maxi is a really great seat that's worth it.

I think Kai recommended this to me when I asked and it’s definitely the best way. I bought the yepp rack that works With the seat and it’s super easy. My friend has it on a nitto rack and it requires a fairly burly adapter that also negates both nitto and yepp warrantee/recommended limits.
