The function amqp.connect isn't working when I try to connect to this URI , amqp://user:password@d-dashboard.com

The rabbitmq instance is hosted on this server d-dashboard.com

Error logs: Error: connect ETIMEDOUT

Any help please ?

Can you ping the host name d-dashboard.com to see the results?

Hi this is a shortened URI for the one I am using, so if you tried pinging it from your side won't work

However I pinged it from my terminal and the results look fine.

 Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 178ms, Maximum = 182ms, Average = 179ms

d-dashboard.com is the URI of the admin panel , so I am not sure if this is the one I should be using or should I add directories to the end of the URI ?

Thanks,
Omar

Please see this document,

https://www.rabbitmq.com/uri-spec.html

Maybe a vhost should be present in URI.

I checked this in different posts , saying that if the vhost is / , so I shouldn't add anything

This is the view from the admin panel of my vhost

So that's why I ended up with this URI amqp://user:pass...@d-dashboard.com

What do you think should I change in it ?
