Anyone using remmina for RDP? (AND able to alt+tab in the RDP session w/o xfce stealing the keystroke)

I am using remmina (1.3.10) on a debian (10) appvm to rdp into a win10
box and it works fairly well, but there is some sort of issue with
remmina grabbing the keystrokes?
When i try to alt+tab in my rdp session xfce/qubes grabs it instead of
the win10 session alt+tabbing. I have tried changing the alt+tab keys in
xfce and then there is no problem but i think remmina is supposed to be
able to grab that keystroke w/o my having to do that.
I have been talking to the remmina people and they are stumped (cant
seem to reproduce the error, though they are not using Qubes) as are the
XFCE people so I am hoping this might be a qubes specific thing?

Please, if anyone is using remmina and knows a way around this I woudl
be really really grateful if you let me know how!

 I haven't used the software, but for local Windows HVMs, I'm able to send alt-whatever by using windows-alt-whatever.

Kind of a difficult one-hand operation, even with my fat fingers, but relatively easy to pull off with two hands.

Might work with this client as well?

I actually am able to use shortcut keys jsut fine in my win hvm, but via
rdp its not working, at least in remmina. As i use qubes (personally)
but have to use win10 for work the best "balance" for me is to rdp into
my work computer but not being able to use some of the shortcut keys is
not helping my productivity.

I guess if no one/not many people are doing this, my question should be
instead how can i get xfce/qubes to not override remmina for grabbing keys?
