Would USB Ethernet be more secure than WiFi..?

There is talk that Ethernet is more secure than WiFi, due to the complexity of WiFi.

So, my laptop only has WiFi.

If I were to remove the WiFi chip, and use a USB Ethernet adapter, do you think that would be more secure..?

Sys-net is red, that is we consider it may be compromised and still we could be safe on our computer. But if we expose our USB controller to something that may be compromised like sys-net we open a door towards something we do not fully control.

Well, if you plan to never connect your USB controller to your more trusted VMs it may make sense. Otherwise you change one threat with another one.
