Hi all,

I am trying to install Qubes-OS on a HP Microserver N40L. I can only
use an usb keyboard on this machine (there is not option to use ps/2
keyboard). But it seems Qubes OS installer doesn't works with usb
keyboard during installiation phase. Is it correct? Any workarround?

Thanks

Have you tried with another kernel then the default one?

When I installed version 2 of Qubes on a HP Microserver N54L I had the same problem as you, the USB keyboard didn't work with the default kernel.
I then tried with an alternative kernel and at least one of them worked (I remember correctly the alternative kernels can be selected from Troubleshooting during installation).

I also had problems getting the Broadcom ethernet NIC to work. I solved it by setting it in permissive mode. See

Thanks Juan Manuel and Magnus but no luck. Changing usb port doesn't
helps me and starting installer from troubleshooting, neither. Could
the problem be that I am using an USB key to install Qubes at the same
time that USB keyboard is connected??

Thanks.
