The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a cornerstone of our engineering team. You will design, build, and own critical parts of our full-stack platform. This isn't a role where you'll just implement tickets. you'll be deeply involved in the "why" and the "how," from architecting scalable backend services to crafting polished front-end experiences. Your deep technical knowledge and high ownership will directly shape our technology and our culture.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
• Own & Build: Take full ownership of features and services from conception to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement robust, maintainable, and scalable backend APIs and services using Python.
• Develop Intuitive Frontends: Build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
• Engineer for Quality: Champion best practices in code quality, testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), and system design. Write code that is clean, documented, and a lesson for other engineers.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with product, design, and other engineers to
translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions. Clearly articulate technical decisions and trade-offs.
• Mentor & Elevate: Share your knowledge, review code, and help raise the bar for the entire engineering team.
• Solve Complex Problems: Apply your deep understanding of data structures and algorithms to solve challenging technical problems efficiently.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Proven Experience: 6+ years of professional software development experience with a
significant portion focused on Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Technical Mastery:
o Deep, practical understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
principles.
o Experience building and maintaining high-quality, production-grade software that is
scalable and observable.
o Strong proficiency in modern backend development (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Flask) and
frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js).
o Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), APIs, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Engineering Mindset: You care deeply about the craft. You think about edge cases,
performance implications, and long-term maintenance. You see testing as essential, not
optional.
• High Ownership: You are self-driven, proactive, and see projects through to completion. You don't wait to be told what to do; you identify problems and propose solutions.
• Excellent Communication: Clear, concise communication in English is a must. You can explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teammates.
• Startup Mentality: You thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly to change, and are motivated by having a significant impact on the product and the company's success.
