How to keep original photo exposure in stitched panorama

I have unchecked Perform automatic exposure and color adjustment, but it does not change the result. One end is brightened too much and the other darkened. I attached a screen capture showing original photos and the stitched panorama in PTGui.

How can I just stitch without adjusting brightness?

Hi Michael,

You can uncheck 'exposure compensation' in the Panorama Editor, Blending
side bar. You will also have to disable 'Find Optimum Seams' if you have
the Pro version.

But understand that the blender will still need to make brightness
adjustments in order to get a seamless blend between the different
exposure levels.

The alternative (recommended) approach is to leave exposure compensation
on, and enable tone mapping. Hope this helps!
