Hi guys
After a reinstall, clicking Preview > Open in PTGui Viewer launches a small blank popup.

When I check my Preferences > Viewers, the three fields are blank.

On Mac, which applications should be listed here?

Hi Peter,

The latest macOS update 10.14.4 has broken the PTGui Viewer.

Until this is fixed, you might use FSPViewer
http://www.fsoft.it/FSPViewer/download/

After installing fspviewer, go to Preferences - Viewers and point to the
FSPViewer application. Under Preview a new option 'open in FSPViewer'
will then appear.

Kind regards,

I've just tested the latest macOS 10.14.5 developer beta, and the
problem is solved. I assume Apple will release this publicly in a couple
of weeks.

Until then I recommend to use FSPViewer:
http://www.fsoft.it/FSPViewer/download/

After installing fspviewer, go to Preferences - Viewers and point to the
FSPViewer application. Under Preview a new option 'open in FSPViewer'
will then appear.

Hi Joost,

After installing fspviewer, I clicked the Preferences button, but couldn't find Viewers, just an Options-screen with General, Interpolators, Color and Advanced. How should I continue creating a panorama with PTGui?

Thanks in advance.

appoligies for the confusion; I should have opened PTGui first and handle it there. After creating my panorama and trying to open in FSPViewer, no panorama appeared and the website texted "the operation is insecure".  Could you tell me what's going on?

Thanks, Rob

Hi Rob,

Could you show a screenshot of what you entered in Options/Preferences -
Viewers in PTGui? I think you entered something wrong there.

Apple just put out a new version of their operating system 10.14.5. I have installed it. The viewer will open a file and it can be partially viewed but it is not working correctly.

I likewise upgraded to 10.14.5 - only reason I bothered was in hopes of getting PTGui viewer back:-)
In my set-up (2016 MacBook pro now running 10.14.5 )viewer opens again.
If I leave PTGUI Viewer opening window at its original size the viewer works correctly (I can navigate by mouse)
If I move the window around my screen it continues to function properly
If I drag a corner of the window to increase its size I can make window bigger but image stays same size pinned to upper left corner
If I Maximize viewer window using green dot it goes full screen but image remains original size pinned to upper left corner

If I lower the resolution on my display settings I can increase the size of the image.
I hope this helps.
Thanks for GREAT stitching software - now my default program for this work.
