I also want to use the drone in large indoor spaces, but I have major stitching problems, although in my opinion the photos have enough sharpness, contrast and detail. I get a lot of errors when stitching. I've provided 35 individual shots as an example here. Download here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sio6eqov7fa1wvq/AADE4hTOXFOBKPljW50Ev75La?dl=0
What amazes me is that the drone shots are excellent outdoors, even though individual parts of the image are much closer to the camera than, say, in this indoor space. Sometimes a shrub or building part is only 3-4 meters away, yet no problem with the overlaps. Where is the problem?
Thanks for any advice.

Are these images the original files from the camera (or already processed by some 3rdparty-software) ?
For my POV they seem very straighlined, not curved as expected for a spherical output.

For indoor orientation the drone uses an "Infrared Sensing System" which often struggles to keep the drone steady while it rotates for 360°s. Especially when GPS signals poke through the roof it gets even more confused. Watch it while it takes those 35 shots and you will notice how the drone slightly moves and drifts around. Half a meter or even less is enough to have a serious impact on the stitching. I usually take 3 to 5 trials of the same spot in indoor environments and then pick the best shot in post.

Thanks for the info. I'm actually already aware of that, but I can't confirm that. The drone, all actions like "redirect" or "brake" are turned off in the settings. The drone is in C mode and is completely still and unmoving in space. On the other hand, when we fly outdoors and create panoramas, very often there is a stronger wind and you can see the drone moving back and forth - yet the panoramas in these shooting situations are without error.
However, I will try the suggestion to create several panoramas from the same place as soon as possible.
I also use the program Panorama Studio 3 Pro and there the errors also occur, although not so strongly.

There's quite a bit of parallax; you can see it near the rings hanging
from the ceiling. They have moved relative to the background.

I got a reasonable stitch by following 5.6:

Project file attached. You need the Pro version of PTGui for viewpoint
correction.

Joost, thanks for the effort - this looks pretty very good!!! I still have to deal with the Support 5.6 manual and
I really hope I can get it together as well as you did. If not, I would write to you again.
Thanks again.
