Hi again everyone.
I am having trouble finding a clear / strait-forward way to create panoramas from sequences of images (video panos). Of course there are many scattered tips and help files associated with this issue, but for some reason, I am unable to get a good workflow. Is someone willing to do a detailed step-by-step written lesson for this technique here on this forum?
At the moment, I have 26 shots that make each panorama. Every shot has a folder named for vert and horiz angle. For example, '-45_0', '-45_45', '-45_90', '-45_135'... and so on.
Each of these folders contain 500 images for the angle.
I have tried working with the Batch Builder and Batch Stitcher, but for some reason the whole process is unclear to me.
Please act as if I am a 10 year-old and describe your process for accomplishing panoramas from image sequences.
Thanks for your time as always.

Hi Martin,
You need to reorganize your images, PTGui currently does not support the
'one folder per camera' arrangement. Instead each frame should be stored
in a separate folder, with a consistent alphabetical file name order
(e.g. camera01.jpg, camera02.jpg).
You need a template: ensure you have a succesful stitch from one frame.
Go to Project Settings and ensure:
- Batch Stitcher Actions - Do Align..: not checked
- Batch Builder Behaviour - Use EXIF data..: not checked
Then do File - Save As Template.
Then run the batch builder. Select 'Generate new projects', choose 'One
panorama per folder' and select the appropriate folder. In the batch
builder you will now see how PTGui has grouped your images into panoramas.
Click the Generate projects button at the bottom. PTGui will create a
project file for each frame and it will ask you if it should send them
to the batch stitcher (yes). Basically that's all.
Kind regards,

Thanks, Joost. Will try this change in the file naming.
I don't understand how this relates to the problem of PTGui not producing multiple panos, and instead producing that strange single composite pano.
Did you diagnose the attached project file and the result jpg pano it produced?
Grateful for your time and system!!

Hi Martin,
Frankly I didn't completely understand what you are trying to achieve.
You've sent a folder with 40 images (just green patches on black
background) and the template contains 40 images. You can expect that
PTGui will create a single panorama from 40 images. If you want multiple
panoramas, put the source images in separate folders, one folder per
panorama.

Hi,
Im new to ptgui and still have troubles but i think the problem you are having is when you go tools>batch builder a box pops open once you click generate new project. in that box you choose
1 method : multiple panoramas per folder with a fixed number of images
2 source folder: choose the source
3 image file ext: jpeg
images per pano: CHOOSE 12
that way the program divides all the uploaded images by 12 and makes HDR images of the 12 images.
