Choosing the amount and the area of the generated control points via command line

Hi all,
I am new to PTGui and I am very impressed by the quality of this tool!

I am using the Pro version via the command line to generate automatic control points in the JSON format by Windows command: (FAQ 6.32)

"C:\Program Files\PTGui\ptgui.exe" -batch "C:\Path\To\Projectfile.pts"

I have two questions:

1) Can I choose the amount of control points to be generated?

2) Can I choose  the area to generate the control points via the command line? (like when I press SHIFT in the control points screen to generate a rectangle of certain area to create the control points)

Sorry for not replying!

1: You can set a maximum number of control points to be generated in
Options -> Control Point Generator
But this is an upper limit, the actual number of generated control
points may be lower, depending on the image contents.

2: no this is not possible. But you can exclude certain areas from
control points by placing red masks. The control point generator will
not add control points to red masked areas. Areas with red masks will
also be excluded from stitching though.
