As the subject line says, I am unable to turn off or disable Midi merge in ProTools 2020.9. I have tried it using the flotools macro option plus number nine, as well as VO-spacing on the button in the midi control cluster. Whatever I try, it still remains enabled. Thanks for any help.g

Just tested it with both methods and both work. Restart your system and try again. Let us know if that solves the problem.

OK, I restarted the system and opened up the same project I was working on, but still am unable to disable the feature. I opened another unrelated project just to test, and had the same results there also. Not sure what to do.

Figured it out. Apparently, Midi merge does not work if the system is in loop record mode. Somehow, I got that mode turned on and it disabled the Midi merge feature. All good now. Thanks.

Ah, makes sense. Glad it worked out.
