Hello Slau!
My false...
You are so right. It has always been working but I expected something different.
An app developer asked me to hold the shift key while launching his app to get to a debug menu.
I thought that that debug menu will appear before the app opens.
Now I saw that the debug menu appears inside the app as an additional item in the apps main menu.
Thanks and best! / Martin

Subject: Re: OT: Holding the shift key while launching an app
Hi Martin,
I believe that, whichever key combination you use to launch an application, holding the Shift key immediately after letting go of the previous key combination will suffice. I've used modifiers that way when launching apps and it seems fine. If you have no luck whatsoever, you might try Flo Mouse and use Shift+` (Accent) in a double-tap while continuing to hold down the Shift modifier. That is the equivalent of Shift-double-clicking and holding the Shift key down. Hope that helps,
Slau

Hello all!
Is there a way to hold the shift key while launching an app when using VoiceOver?
I tried Shift+Command+DownArrow,
Shift-Click via the mouse macros,
Holding Shift and double pressing routing key on my braille display.
No touchpad available.
Thanks and best! / Martin
