Hello all!
I got some audio files, recordings of vinyl records.
What is a good tool for our community for cleaning up cracks etc.?
Should I upgrade my RX 6 Elements license to RX 8 Standard or are there better solutions?

Hi Martin,
RX is especially good for this purpose. I've found it to be a bit hungry for CPU but I think it's gotten better over the years. The presets usually do the trick. I put presets for RX6 in the Drop Box but we're up to RX8. I haven't upgraded yet. I don't think anybody's put RX8 presets in there but you might want to check that. Otherwise, if you get some sighted assistance for a little while, there aren't too many presets to save out, maybe 8 per module.

Visiting the Izotope website, RX 6 is not Big Sur compatible.
I first tried to install RX 6 with no success.
Or did I get anything wrong?

As I mentioned earlier, they're up to RX8 which, I believe is Big Sur compatible. I don't think you can upgrade only to RX6. At any rate, even if you could, clearly the OS limitation would eliminate that option.
