I have an audio track which I have recorded some vocal on. I'm now
trying to enable the elastic audio plugin on that track.

First, I set the track's time base to ticks instead of samples, as I do
want it to change when the tempo is menipulated..

Now, when I make absolutely certained that I'm focused on the track, not
in the track list table, but the actual track itself just to be clear, I
make sure the FloTools inspector is on by hitting the slash key. Then, I
press E. I hear absolutely nothing spoken. If I double press the letter
E to choose the algorithm, that isn't working either.

Do I need to be in the edit window for this to work? I tried from the
mix window, but yeah. Nothing I'm doing seems to be working. All other
FloTools commands work as expected.

Check that your track height is set to medium. If it's not, certain things will be hidden from view, including the elasi audio state. If you don't see it in the edit window, FloTools can't see it either. You can use the FloTools command in any window, but the edit window is where the actual elastic audio button is located.

It's because the name of the element has changed and now includes the term "ARA" in the name. Chi needs to update the macro. Maybe I'll just change it myself and throw out a new macro for the next version.
