Turning off minute and second function

Hello,

I am needing to turn off the minute and second function so that I can read measures and beats. I selected the measure and beat function but when I go to turn off the minute and second it keeps saying it is dimmed. I would appreciate your suggestions as how to address this matter.

Select the main counter format by going to the View menu, Main Counter submenu and select bars and beats. That's all you need to do.
