Hello!

Today I worked at a clients Pro Tools system and realized that I have to
press Numpad3 followed by Numpad0 to start recording.
What recording option did I miss here?

Thandks and best! / Martin

Hi Martin,
I've seen this behavior maybe twice and, frankly, I don't recall what it was that fixed it. I'm thinking that perhaps you need to make sure that the transport isn't online and waiting for sync. Pressing Command+j will toggle it. Flo Tools will tell you if it's enabled and a double-press will toggle it. See if that works. Otherwise, one never knows when a restart will sort it out :) Keep us posted.

Hello Slau!

"Wait for MIDI Note" causes the issue - Even on an audio track.

Best! / Martin

Hi Martin,
If "Wait for Note" is enabled, it doesn't matter what you have selected. That's the Pro Tools transport waiting for a MIDI event to occur before rolling. Whether you have a MIDI track in the session doesn't matter. You can have 8 audio tracks waiting to record and, for example, if you press a note on a keyboard, the transport will start rolling. OK, good to know you figured out what the issue was.
Cheers,
Slau
