Nobody has made .tfx files because RX12 was only introduced a couple of days ago.

Hello Slau and RX users!

Are there any helpful keyboard shortcuts inside an RX plug-in for scrolling the preset list after opening the preset dialog by using VOCR?

Thank you and best wishes! / Martin

I seem to recall using Flo tools Plug-in Views to set a location for the pop-up menu. From there, I either used VOCR or something to capture the preset name and paste it into the Save As dialogue. Also, if I remember correctly, I went to Application grab the subfolder structure and maybe even presets (the Izotope versions) to have a better understanding of how the stuff was organized. When I did all of the RX 11 presets, it was relatively painless. It was simply a bit of a time investment.

HTH,

Hello Slau!

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Did you create the Flo Tools plug-in views with sighted assistance?
Did you manage the scrolling through all Izotope preset pages inside a certain plug-in window also by using a Flo Tools plug-in view?
Sorry for asking again and again, but I'm trying to find a solution for getting it done independent.

Best wishes! / Martin

Hi Martin,

I managed without any sighted assistance. Using VOCR, I first found the place where the word "Default" appeared, Made note of the coordinates with Flo Mouse. Entering those values into the template automatically created by Flo Tools, I was then able to consistently move to that location with either Control+down arrow or Control+right arrow. Performing a mouse click then opened the menu. Depending on the module, it was either self-voicing or I continued to use VOCR to scan the menu itself, clicking on the preset name then rescanning with VOCR to confirm that the new name displayed was as expected. I then used the save As command to rename the Pro Tools plugin preset.

It's been a a while so I don't recall in great detail. For what it's worth, I looked at the Plugin View from the rX11 and it appears that the preset manager pop-up menu coordinates were 171,171. Of course, that might not still be the case for RX12 but it might be worth a try.

best,
Slau
