I want to monitor if if my application is up and running on a server. I have an endpoint for health check which returns HTTP status 200 when my app is up and running. Is there any way I can monitor if my application is up or not using Prometheus?

Yes, have a look at the Blackbox Exporter (https://github.com/prometheus/blackbox_exporter), which is meant for that purpose. This blog post has a short tutorial on HTTP-200 checking: https://www.robustperception.io/checking-for-http-200s-with-the-blackbox-exporter (note the blog post is a bit dated, so you might want to insert newer versions of the components)
