Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to give some updates on funcbench and what's happening with prometheus/test-infra. it's not a lot, but think should it be put publicly :)

Firstly, funcbench is finally working with GitHub comments, it's a simple tool to compare your Go code between commits. Huge thanks to Bartek, Nevill and Krasi for their contributions to it! but it has flaws so please feel free to suggest changes to how it should behave, changes to output format etc. Instructions can be found here.

Secondly, as part of GSoC, there are two students(@weastel and @rajdas98) are in their final month who were working on KIND(Local) and EKS support for prometheus/test-infra. We'll soon be moving to prombench and other test-infra components to EKS. There will be no command changes as such.

The GSoC students are also working on updating and improving the prombench dashboards and to add new panels/checks if required. It'll be super nice to have some inputs on those if you have any.

There are few other interesting things we can be excited about like Remote Write support for prombench, Random restarts and exploring other load generators. Please create issues at prometheus/test-infra if you have any suggestions/improvements :)

Thanks a lot!

Best,
Hrishikesh Barman
