Hi!
Still living in Phnom Penh and missing the presentations, discussions
and other things we did druing PHnom Penh LUG meetings.
I was wondering if you were still in town, what had happened to you
since and whether anyone was interested to try meeting up again?

Wow, it's been a long time!
Still in Phnom Penh. Based out of Prek Leap National Institute of Agriculture which is on the banks of the Mekong about 8 km past the Japanese bridge.
We're in the process of building an Agricultural AI Research Lab at the school.
After trying to move to GUIX for a year, I finally threw in the admitted defeat (it's not even close to being production ready) and am back on Debian both for servers and the desktop.
I'd be very interested in meeting up again.

Hey!
Nice to hear from you. I'm suppose to go to Kep on a friend's farm to do
motorcycle riding for a weekend. Probably second part of July or August.
Else do you come to PP sometimes? We could try to coordinate something
if you want. My Free Software days are very quiet, more into web
standards and security nowadays (and scripts and automation). Though
there are a few Free Software 'web tools' (not CMS right) which I should
definitely take a look at.
I'd say I am quite isolate in Phnom Penh as well ;-)

Hey Brad!
Sure let's try to do something. On the OS side I haven't changed much,
still Fedora for vanilla GNOME desktop and Ubuntu for servers. AI I
read, what would you use it for, if it's not a state secret?
Let's see if we can get a few of us meeting up then.

I had to change to W10 because of my different working environment when I moved to Kep in 2013, but I kept Ubuntu on a personal notebook.
