Nexran on new srsran project

Is there currently any plan or initiative to port the nexran xapp to the new srsran? Would it just be replacing the e2ap and adding the modified kpm service model?

Hi Josh. We hope to do this, but no definite plan yet. The new
https://github.com/srsran/srsRAN_Project codebase's E2 (v2) has some
support for KPM v2, but I haven't looked to see exactly where it's at.
On the xApp side, the work is to migrate to KPM v2 (shouldn't need the
custom extension at that point). Then migrate the custom NexRAN service
models to use the new srsRAN_Project E2 abstractions, and modify the
scheduler to allow E2-influenced RB scheduling via the service model.

Is the current implementation of nexran functional in 5G NSA/SA with multi USRP or COTS UE support? The only reason i was asking about the port was my inability to configure it to work in this configuration.

Hi Josh. No, we have not yet ported any of the Nexran pieces to 5G
gNodeBs/CU/DUs yet.
