I had a version of vulcanized version of pica with un-minimized source, but then I updated and I can't reproduce how I got it.

vulcanize wants 'bower install' but that seems to use minimized js. I have the results of pull-all.sh: how can I convince vulcanize to use the full source?

Thanks,
jjb

Could you switch over to loading polymer-dev in the polymer.html import and comment out the polymer.js include?

I followed Eric's offline suggestion and edited a line to use polymer-dev. Then with:
  cd pica
  bower install Polymer/polymer-dev
I was able to make progress.  Now I am stuck in platform.js
I tried
  bower install Polymer/platfor-dev

Then I reissued vulcanize.

However my platform.js is still compresssed, making debugging very painful. There must be some where that I need to  replace an include of platform.js with another something. But the string
<script src="../platform/platform.js"></script>
appear in a lot of files so I guess this is not the right process.

Any hints?

one trick I've used, starting from the polymer-dev checkout folder:

    $ grunt minify

That will build "platform.concat.js" in the build/ directory. you can then swap out platform.js for platform.concat.js, which is a lot more debuggable and still just 1 file to deploy :)
