Thanks John,
I did not mention, that the cable cannot be pulled out from the handle direction, it is blocked as the push-pull rod reaches the point  what is on the attached picture, somehow the cable and the push-pull rod connected inside the copper tube behind the cockpit panel.

You should be able to find piano wire of the right dia. ; securing the end at the control
end may be a problem;  however  high strength epoxy over a length of 2cm.
cheers

Hello,
Yesterday, when we wanted to start the engine of our PIK30 (this area is exactly the same as PIK20E), we realized that the choke control broken somewhere inside the tube housing. We can pull out the handle as you can see on the attached pic., but the steel cable is not moving on the carburetor end, confirming that the steel cable broken.
I am also attaching a pic how it looks from behind, I do not have any idea how the handle rod and the steel cable attached together inside the copper tube.
Does anybody have any idea how to repair just the steel cable inside the tube, if it is possible at all, or how to find replacement. We would of course prefer just somehow replacing the broken steel cable, because replacing the whole assembly probably very painful process.
Thanks
Istvan

I'm pretty sure you just have to loosen the knurled nut that is against the panel to back out the rold.
