PIK20E Broken Choke cable

Hello,
Yesterday, when we wanted to start the engine of our PIK30 (this area is exactly the same as PIK20E), we realized that the choke control broken somewhere inside the tube housing. We can pull out the handle as you can see on the attached pic., but the steel cable is not moving on the carburetor end, confirming that the steel cable broken.
I am also attaching a pic how it looks from behind, I do not have any idea how the handle rod and the steel cable attached together inside the copper tube.
Does anybody have any idea how to repair just the steel cable inside the tube, if it is possible at all, or how to find replacement. We would of course prefer just somehow replacing the broken steel cable, because replacing the whole assembly probably very painful process.
