The Debian 13 based version of Pi OS came out at the start of this month.

Do the PiDP-10 tools install and run on it yet? Anyone tried?

I haven't tried it yet (I'm waiting for a month or so to make sure it's a stable
release) and then I'll test it with the PiDP-11. If all goes well, I'll also support
Trixie in my fork of the pidp11 repo. Right now my fork will complain if the
Pi isn't running Bookworm.

I was planning on downloading all the Trixie versions tonight and give one a try on one of my Pi4’s. Then load it on my SD card on my Pi5 along with PiDP-10 sw to see how it works before overwriting the OS & PiDP-10 on the MMC stick.

Have a great Day!

Saw this, then lost it. Hope you don't mind me replying on-list.

I tried with Pi OS 5 tonight, latest version. First time I ran the
setup script, no desktop icons, nothing. _Second_ time it created
icons.

On startup a few blinkenlights come on, and there's a pidp10 process
running, but no console, no terminals connect, localhost is apparently
not responding. I must have done something wrong but I'm at a loss how
to proceed.

It's taken me 11 months to get someone to help me mount a Pi 5 with
active cooler, and with 2 of us, it took 3 goes. I am glad I didn't
try to assemble the whole kit!

There is an error with libpcre.   Seems libpcre3 is gone and the emulator depends on it.

I followed the instructions in /opt/pidp10/src/compiling-pdp10-readme.txt

Now the emulator works again.
