So I created this PR https://github.com/php-fig/cache/pull/16 but it found very little publicity.

Issue which followed https://github.com/php-fig/cache-util/issues/15 got no publicity.

As I still think this is good idea to do with no BC break risk, I would like to try reach more people which are involved with PSR-6 via this mailing list.

Hey Gabriel,

Thanks for showing an interest in PSR-6, and for making PRs in the first place! All community feedback is welcomed.

I noticed Larry commented on github already.

Although we don't like to change a spec once published, for adding new features, this is actually a good addition which doesn't introduce anything new.

The reserved characters are in the written spec but we forgot to add it into the interfaces. Such things are easily missed.

It would be valuable to add this in, and it has my support.

What's the group's latest procedure for making updates to specs; an errata or something?

Many thanks,
Paul

The workflow for amendments is clarified in the related bylaws: https://www.php-fig.org/bylaws/psr-amendments/
Larry is the editor of the PSR, so he has the authority over this stuff. Paul, I would advise you to reach out to Larry privately and discuss what to do about this topic.
