haven't been checking emails last 2 weeks...you starting this up again? 

I was going to look at p90x 3, seems to be the same shit but only 30 min a day

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about this dude... he does the workouts more, so hes much more out of breath... which i guess i find both endearing and annoying.

i'm still rounding out p90x lite, did some sweet sweet plyo.  looking to finish it up soon and start something different later this month.  definitely starting a 3 month diet today.   need to be cut for the golf trip!!

Does someone have the p90 x3 videos anywhere (the 30 minute ones). One of the main reasons I bailed after a week last time was getting up so early. Maybe I can squeeze in 30 mins.

In all seriousness, it really does suck getting up that early but it does get easier.  I'm only 4 days in and today was easier than earlier this week.

Yeah, big surprise, but I'm duffing this hard. I know I need to get up early to do it before work or I'll never do it, but I keep staying up past 11 every night and ignoring my alarm. Also, the heat has stopped working in our basement so until I fix that I have even less incentive to go down there and work out in the morning.

ziedler did you finish the p90 lite?  I doubled up yesterday with legs/back and then arm/shoulders meaning i'm 1/2 half into week 6.  my goal is to finish next friday and start up p90x 3 (the 30 minute version) shortly after that.

I didn't hang out with Tony this morning only because I needed some time to recoup and catch up on sleep from a pretty late night Saturday night.  Back on the wagon tomorrow morning though.

I don't do much upper body, but I typically will mix-in a lot of resistance bands into my stretching/core. You can find a ton of band workouts online, but I usually do some variant of this (rep count is whatever it takes to complete muscle fatigue):

- push-ups
- biceps curls (palm up and then palm down) or supersets where you go all the way up, halfway up, halfway down and then all the way up again
- triceps over head and also palms down and together from waist up to your chin (or tricep dips on a bench)
- overhead press
- bentover rows
- the thing where you're in push-up position with a weight in each hand and alternate pulling the weight straight up to your chest
- light dumbbells at your sides lifting arms straight up to the side so they're parallel to the ground and then the same thing straight out in front of you

If I'm lifting at the gym, I'll occasionally use the equipment for things like bench, hammer press, tricep pull downs and lat pull downs,

I got through 7 weeks of P90X Lite by the end of 2013, then abandoned the final week with plans to start the full program again this year. So far two weeks in to 2014 I've done exactly one workout, unless you count shoveling snow or lifting toddlers.

Currently in my second week of this new mission -- did Plyo today.  I'm not keeping to the schedule exactly but I'm still keeping up with the workouts.  Today was encouraging because I was able to keep up with the whole routine as opposed to hurting last week and dogging it a bit.  Already feel infinitely more cut (picture the Hulk, for reference)
