Hello all,

Upon install, I am seeing a message that I should open "security & privacy" and allow the system software from Fumihiko Takayama. However, the prompt only says "Some system software was blocked from loading" and does not appear to do anything when I click allow.

I tried (when working on something else) disabling system integrity protection as described here, and suddenly things worked. Is there a way to run Karabiner-Elements with system integrity protection on? OS is 10.13.1.

Please let me know if you know of anything I should try.

Thank you,
Alex

You cannot press the Allow button If you are using MagicPrefs or such
apps which modify mouse events.
Please disable such apps.

Thanks for your reply to my question.
In my Mac, There are only three apps controlling mouse(trackpad) events, Better Touch Tool, Alfred2, Gestr.
I tried to press the Allow button after quitting the three apps, and I can solve the problem.
I don't know which apps makes the problem exactly, but I can use Karabiner-Elements now.
Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,
Chansong Kim.

Dr. Mr. Fumihiko,

Thank you for your reply. Temporarily disabling magicprefs indeed fixed my problem.

Best,
Alex
