Change type from Local to Agent

What would be the easiest way to change an installation type from local to agent on linux?  Would it require an uninstall/reinstall or is there an easier method?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I think it would depend on how you installed it.
If you installed from source, `make clean` in the src directory, then
re-run `install.sh`. Don't upgrade, and install the agent version.
With packages, I'm guessing you'll have to reinstall, but I don't
really use them myself.
