Hi, I just bought Osmand+ and I wonder, if car navigation is somehow capable of adjusting route depending on actual traffic. Like Google Maps does. Thanks, Tom

Hi, Tom!

OsmAnd doesn't include traffic information and cannot adjust the route based on it.
But Conditional restrictions can affect the route.

That's why I use MagicEarth for driving.

Google Maps is useful, sometimes, but one can't relay on it blindly, their ability to know a traffic jam is really a traffic jam can be much improved.
See for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5eL_al_m7Q

It really is a funny video, but total nonsense of course.
And with Magic Earth or OsmAnd using an open traffic system like the crowd-sources traffic system (Magic Earth), you could do exactly the same to fool the system.
Put the same pile of smartphones in a cart/trolley using Magic Earth or OsmAnd (with crowd-source traffic), and you would see the same.
Do the same with a pile of smartphones running TomTom and you would also see the same.
Currently they can all be fooled.
This is not an argument at all to say that you can't rely on it blindly.
