I was wondering what way to locate GPS coordinates for an address? I know that OSM does not have every address available but I was thinking if I could use GPS coordinates this would help us on our cycling tour.
Thank!
Currently in Estonia cycling!

Assuming that the address is present in OSM, you can use Nominatim
(https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/) to search OSM for the address.

Then, when you get a result back, you can push the "details" button for
the result and one of the elements that returns is "Centre Point".
That will either be the gps coordinate of an actual point (when the
address is stored in OSM on a point) or the geometric center of a
polygon (when the address in OSM is placed on a closed way, which is an
OSM polygon).

After you find something with search, the details button will show
coordinates, or at least I did something that seems very similar to how
I described it.

Thanks for the replies. But maybe I asked too soon? Looking at find directions between 2 places it does not appear to give me the option to use GPS coordinates. Or am I missing something?

It depends on the country. In Estonia, the OpenStreetMap Nominatim
thing might work. For the US, OSM tends not to have street
addresses. Google Maps used to have a free API, but like so many
Google APIs it disappeared without a replacement. The best I've
found for the US in recent years is from the Census bureau,
https://geocoding.geo.census.gov/geocoder/locations/onelineaddress

You can use the Android app "maps coordinates".
This app seems to use the Google server.
It can export the coordinates to the clip stack.
