I wanted to plan a hiking trip these days and ai noticed that the elevation profile is completely gone. Anyone else having this issue?

Elevation profile was added in 2.6 (https://osmand.net/blog/osmand-2-6-released) and looks like now, in version 3.3.8 is gone.

Try sliding the directions menu up. You should see it. And for more information on your route, press details.

I did that. Is not the first time using it. It's just gone. Here is a quick example:

I wonder if it's related to the detail map. When I try to duplicate your route, or create others nearby, I get what you get: no elevation information of any kind.

Using your area, I'm also crashing after creating a route.

I've tried to reinstall the maps. No luck.
I've tried to lower the details to minimum, again, no luck.

I've downloaded Chile map (no idea why Chile :D) and the elevation profile works just fine. I guess it's something wrong with my map...

Thanks a lot for your help. Hopefully someone from OSMAND will see this...

I also tried a random route in Slovakia.  No luck. But all's well here in California.  Let's see if others report, either here or on Github.

Latest development.

. Our team has already fixed this issue with the crash. The new update will be available in the nearest days on Google Play. In the meantime, you can install our Nightly version via this link: https://download.osmand.net/latest-night-build/OsmAnd-nightly.apk.
As for the altitude on routes, the new map updates for England will be available in two days for OsmAnd Live subscription users and on the first days of the next month for the free version of OsmAnd, OsmAnd+, and Unlimited users in OsmAnd menu - Download maps - Local.

The elevation information is also missing for the map of Georgia and The Netherlands in the version of June 1, 2019. I almost think the elevation information is missing for (almost) all maps in the version of June 1, 2019. The latest map of California contains the elevation information, but this map hasn't had an update on June 1, 2019.
