Hello!
Some routes on OSM map does not exist, but on sat map (and I also know them) they are.
Can I add to my route just lines with distance without route building?
For example. Some route to river bank, then line through river to other route on opposite bank.
Thanks!

Hi,

This is not currently achievable easily. There are two open issues
concerning this, on BRouter-Web (the web interface)
[here](https://github.com/nrenner/brouter-web/issues/68) and on BRouter
[here](https://github.com/abrensch/brouter/issues/145). If you have a
Github account, you can follow them to get notifications on updates.

Of course, depending on the situation (if you know there is indeed a
path and can edit remotely with aerial imagery or GPX traces, it is
generally a good idea to try to complete and fix the OSM data. Just keep
in mind than BRouter segments (built from OSM data) are currently built
weekly on brouter.de.

Best,

Thanks a lot for fast response.
It is really pitty, that such a function have not realized yet.
And you are right - it is good idea to add data to OSM, but it could be done after route planning, not before, and without no-routed lines it is impossible with BRouter.

In case you would use LocusMap front end application, it is possible.

As within it's route planner, each segment of it route can be routed by independent routing, including "straight line routing".

The limitation is, the route recalculation feature must be turned off while on duch a segment, otherwise Locus+BRouter could be really confused.

Unless, Locus smartly switch from navigation to guidance, but U have not tested that.

Hi,

This is what I am doing as a work around:
* planning the entire route and at the missing parts as close as possible to these.
* export as kml to Google Earth. If GE is open, your route opens directly after two or three clicks.
* search the location and delete the wrong (extra) waypoints.
* insert waypoint for the missing part.

Best,
