Hi guys,

Given that TNC20 just was cancelled and the present situation with Covid-19 we
probably have to cancel the F2F interoperability testing event that was planned for Brighton in June.

I’ve started to plan how we can do the interoperability testing over the net.

The basic setup would be all of us having entities up and running on the Net and we
doing the testing while at the same time being connected using Zoom, Skype, .. what have you.
So, we should still do a 1 day event just not F2F.

Sounds reasonable ?

That makes sense to me. Even to do in-person testing, you all would have had to establish testing endpoints on the public Internet anyway.

I does sound super reasonable. We'll prepare for that, but still,
fingers crossed that things will clear out by then.

Thanks!

Hi all,

I agree with Vladimir.

Also with TNC being cancelled anyway, would it be a good idea to get
some stuff going in anticipation of the 'official' test day? I can offer
access to an instance of my MDSS implementation, and am working on a
test RP based on Spring, but that is very far from done.

Hi,

I’ve started to work on setting up ’toy’ federation on a VPS.
The setup will contain 1 federation operators (trust anchors), 1 OP and 2 RPs.
One of the RPs will doing explicit client registration and the other automatic client registration.
There will also be some intermediates.

I hope to have it up and running during the next week.
I have all the necessary parts, I only (famous last words) need to understand how to deal with
Nginx and uwsgi on a cloud based VPS.

I (or rather we) also have to figure out how you can register your entities as members of this federation.
To begin with we can do it manually since we are not that many.
